Joan is a drummer, singer, and educator born in the Philippines, raised in Hawaii, and currently residing in Los Angeles.
Having grown up with a family of musicians, Joan has tried everything from piano, guitar, and singing in choir, but ultimately found her passion playing the drumset. She shows up in any genre, performing regularly throughout California with various artists and groups.
Joan studied music at Citrus College and earned her BM in Percussion Studies at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach.
